K. Amanda Herndon Barton, Esq.
My practice began in Jackson, MS in 2003 after I graduated from law school. I practiced at medium sized defense firm wherein my practice consisted mostly of insurance defense and various bankruptcy matters. I then moved in 2006 to Mobile, AL where I practiced with another medium size firm wherein my practice consisted of mostly insurance defense litigation, but I also began my practice of construction law. Then, in 2009, I joined the firm of Holston Vaughan, LLC wherein my construction law practice grew. I now have a very wide practice area that focuses mainly on Plaintiff type cases. I handle not only construction law cases, but also cases for creditors involved in bankruptcy matters, collection matters, insurance litigation, contract issues and product liability cases. I handle litigation matters all over Mississippi and Alabama, but my practice primarily takes me to Mobile County and Baldwin County, Alabama.
